Wiley Interdisciplinary Reviews: Forensic Science is a new journal aimed at promoting interdisciplinary understanding of science in the criminal justice system. It covers multiple fields such as anthropology, chemistry, biology, medicine, crime scene investigation, digital science, and law. Aim to combine the strengths of multidisciplinary reference works with review literature to create an innovative online academic journal model.

The goal of this journal is to promote the application of science and technology in law enforcement, particularly knowledge and skills related to evidence, evidence evaluation, standard practices, and legal or policy development in the trial process. It is committed to becoming a valuable resource for judicial scientists, law enforcement personnel, toxicologists, pharmacists, biochemists, microbiologists, organic chemists, isolation scientists, drug screening project workers, Homeland Security personnel, industry and government policy makers, and clinical physicians (including psychiatrists), and helping professionals in these different fields communicate and understand each other.
